Laning: Deny the Early Power

Choose Your Champion Wisely: Lee Sin, with his early game power, outduels Rengar in the tangled depths of the jungle. Rammus, a thorn in the side of any assassin, tanks Rengar's burst. Janna's disengage abilities deny his picks, scattering his prey to the winds.

Invade and Conquer: Rengar's power hinges on a strong early game. Invade his jungle, steal his precious camps, and set him back before he hits his crucial level 6. Deny him those early kills, and he'll struggle to become the terror he aims to be.

Ward, Ward, Ward: Vision around key objectives and in his jungle reveals his movements, robbing him of his precious stealth. Blanket the jungle in wards, and his gank setups will crumble.

Teamfights:  Contain the Ambush

Strength in Numbers: Rengar excels at picking off solo targets, pouncing from the shadows. Stick together, especially if you're a squishy carry – his claws will find it much harder to sink into clustered prey.

Bait the Leap: CC abilities (stuns, knock-ups) are most effective AFTER he leaps in on a target. Hold on to these precious spells until the ambush begins! Time it right, and he'll find himself helpless mid-air.

Track the Ferocity: Watch his resource bar! If it's full, avoid fighting unless you have a clear advantage.

Force him to waste empowered abilities on jungle creeps, leaving him less dangerous when he turns his eyes to your lane.

Exploiting Rengar's Weaknesses

• Early Game Pressure: Rengar is weakest in those early levels. Invade aggressively, deny him camps, and gank the lanes he ignores. Cripple his start, and he'll never become the fearsome predator he aims to be.
• Pink Ward Power: Deny his stealthy approaches with strategically placed pink wards. Light reveals the lurking danger, robbing him of his greatest strength.
• No Escape Artist: Rengar has limited escapes once he commits to the kill. If you survive his initial burst, focus fire him down – without escape tools, he's remarkably vulnerable.

Counter-Building Rengar's Burst

• Armor Stacking: Thornmail and Randuin's Omen cripple his physical damage and punish his reliance on basic attacks. Build defensively, and his claws lose their bite.
• Bait the Burst: Stopwatch or Zhonya's Hourglass deny his initial kill attempt and waste his most important rotations. Buy time, and exhaust his strongest tools.
• Exhaust his Attacks: Exhaust reduces his attack speed significantly, making it hard for him to stack Ferocity and burst you down. Weaken his attack, and he becomes far less terrifying.

Remember: Rengar thrives on stealth, sudden burst damage, and catching you isolated.  Deny him those opportunities, track his movements, and counter his all-in with well-timed CC and protection. Do this, and the fearsome Pridestalker will be the one running for his life!
