COLOSSAL SMASH

WINDS OF WAR

• What it does: Like calling forth a mini-tempest, you unleash two gusts that swirl into a damage-dealing tornado. Deals a percentage of your target's health, making it hurt more on those bulking tanks.
• How to use it: Minion waves won't stand a chance. Combo with Colossal Smash and those poor little guys evaporate. The tornado hurts over time, so it's perfect for softening up enemies already caught by your other moves.
• The good stuff: Great for clearing space, and power that grows along with your own.
• Watch out for: Takes some aiming, gotta get both blasts on target, plus that tornado has a slight delay before it starts the pain.

SHIELD OF DURAND

• What it does: Think of it like a magical force field! It's got two parts: a regular shield against magic that refreshes every so often, and (the fun part) a taunt that makes enemies HAVE to fight you while you deflect a chunk of their damage.
• How to use it: Hate those pesky mages? Pop this up and laugh while their spells fizzle out. Taunt a dangerous foe, forcing them to focus you while your team takes them down. Combo it for maximum annoyance.
• The good stuff: Makes you tankier against magic, and that taunt can turn a whole teamfight around.
• Watch out for: That cooldown IS on the long side, so good timing is everything.

JUSTICE PUNCH

• What it does: Imagine charging forward, fist glowing, and sending an enemy flying! That's this move - damage, disruptive knock-up, and a burst of speed to get you into the action.
• How to use it: Perfect way to start a fight! Knock up a key target, or use it defensively to create some distance. Pairs well with your shield's taunt – close in, force them to face you, then blast them away.
• The good stuff: Serious damage on a single target, and that knock-up gives your team the advantage.
• Watch out for: They can dodge it with the right timing, so close the distance first before you unleash it.

HERO'S ENTRANCE

• What it does: This is where you get to be the shining hero! Shield your allies AND blast enemies sky-high when you land, a true entrance worthy of a legend.
• How to use it: Team caught in a bad spot? Drop in to save the day! See a chance to knock out a bunch of enemies? Time to fly! Ganking another lane never looked so dramatic.
• The good stuff: Turns you into instant backup, AND gives your team the perfect chance to counterattack. Wide range of possibilities!
• Watch out for: That cooldown is huge, so choose your moment wisely. Teamwork is key here – don't land if your allies aren't ready to follow up.

How to play Galio

Early on, don't sweat missing a few minions as you learn Galio's rhythm.  Just focus on staying alive – dodging those pesky long-range spells from enemy mages is a win all on its own.

But once you hit level 3, that's when the fun starts! Get your jungler in for a gank. A well-timed combo will turn those early-game struggles into sweet, sweet revenge.

Mid-game, good vision control is key. Ward up those crucial jungle spots, and the enemy jungler's every move will be revealed. No sneaky attacks on your watch!

Ready to fight?  Charge in and get close! Pop your Durand Shield to slow those enemies down, then it's time to rain down some punches. Weave in a Justice Punch for a knock-up, and finish them off with Winds of War. Most enemies won't survive that brutal combo.

Come late-game teamfights, Galio shines.  Push the lane aggressively, then surprise the enemy with a dramatic Hero's Entrance right into the heart of their team. Even if you miss a few targets, your ult provides a beefy shield for your allies. You'll turn the tide of battle!

Farming Tip: Stand just below your minion wave. A well-placed Winds of War will blast both melee and ranged minions. Use your passive's powerful punch to finish any survivors, clearing the whole wave with ease.
