Z-DRIVE RESONANCE

Remember that basic attacks or using the third skill will deal extra magic damage and give Ekko movement speed. Having more movement speed will help Ekko quickly approach or escape. However, after 5 seconds, the effect will not apply to the same champion.

TIMEWINDER

The most important thing to note about this skill is that it creates a slow zone. Choose the areas you need to pressure to direct your attacks to that target. It could be the enemy’s center of combat to split their formation. Finally, the device will return and deal more damage, so you need to choose the right position.

PARALLEL CONVERGENCE

This is the skill that is most suitable for catching low-health champions. It is also a way to corner and pressure the position. Whenever the enemy stands in the time zone, I will rush in and stun and deal damage to the enemy. The downside is that this skill has a long cooldown.

PHASE DIVE

This is the skill that helps me approach the enemy and create many useful combos that I will explain in detail in the gameplay guide below.

Of course, I will use it when my life is threatened. But remember that the closer Ekko’s shadow is to many targets, the better. Because when I return to the shadow’s position, it will deal AOE damage.

How to play Ekko

I think Parallel Convergence is quite easy to dodge unless you choose a very good corner position. Therefore, I will use Timewinder first. If I hit the enemy in the slow zone, I will use Parallel Convergence next to increase the control ability.

And finally, I will use Phase Dive to speed up and enter the time zone of Parallel Convergence. I’m sure with just one perfect combo like this, the low-health enemy will be eliminated.

With the skill Phase Dive, besides using it to attack, I can also use it to escape or go through thin walls.

In case of ganking, I will use Parallel Convergence to block the enemy’s escape route. It is very effective. The enemy will have to go around, leading to a slow escape, and the only solution is to flash. But if they flash, Ekko can flash after them or use Phase Dive to chase.
